MY DREAM ACADEMY
(WE INSPIRE WISE DREAMERS AND FUTURE LEADERS)
My Dream Academy is a leadership and risk reduction program, for females ages 14-21. Our program encourage youth leadership and life skills through activities and dialogue which teaches self­-esteem, self worth, encouraging good decision­ making, increase academic achievement, positive social interaction with peers, adults and community, decreases risky behavior and provide alcohol and drug abuse education.  An important component of the program is providing youth with positive role models who encourage achievement and alternatives resolving life’s conflicts as well as community services. Our activities include bimonthly group meetings, monthly movie nights/slumber parties, dance classes, attending theatrical productions and plays, community involvement, and educational and recreational trips.

FRESH QUEENS
(GUIDING AND CELEBRATING HEALTHY &
POSITIVE TRANSITION TO HIGH SCHOOL)
Fresh Queens is a unique program that specifically targets 9th grade girls. The program is designed to assist freshmen successfully transition into a high school environment.  Our goal is to target students at the beginning of high school and build a foundation that will enable our participants to make positive decisions.  We assist program participants in learning about high school life, body changes, peer interactions and how to make sound and life­altering decisions as it pertains to graduating from high school.  This includes body dancing & crowning presentation into womanhood.

WII GIRLS (WE INSPIRE GIRLS)
Wii Girls (We Inspire Girls) program encourages girls specially of color in the7 th and 8 th grades to develop empowerment leadership and life skills through activities which teaches youth self­esteem, self worth, encouraging good decision ­making, increase academic achievement, positive social interaction with peers, adults and community, decreases risky behavior and provide alcohol and drug abuse education.  An important component of the program is providing youth with positive role models who encourage achievement and alternatives resolving life’s conflicts.  The purpose of WII Girls is to engage girls in unique activities that will assist them in defining leadership skills and expanding personal worth and individual growth. We create various activities and experiences to support and inform girls about: self and family history, life skills/etiquette, fitness, health and wellness, adolescent obesity education, and civic responsibility. We also host Wii Girls Summer Camp in July 2011.

BROTHER 2 BROTHER
(STRONG SUPPORT SYSTEMS FOR MALES)
Brother 2 Brother Support Systems is a guiding structure for young brothers of all ages. Our program is committed to aiding our young men through their individual journeys in life while helping them to make a conscious decision to live a productive and positive lifestyle. Brother 2 Brother is also is also an enrichment agency providing opportunities to travel and see other parts of the world. We provide a steady diet of roots and culture across the African Diaspora including but not limited to history, the arts, and science, sparking the appetite for knowledge and information.   We believe in empowerment through knowledge of self, and equipping our youth with the tools it will take to succeed in society. Through refinement and given access to all the world has to offer our young brothers will succeed. Brother 2 Brother is Motivational Out-reach Support & Teaching (MOST).  We are doing the M.O.S.T. Our motto is “Each1 Teach3”.

BROTHER 2 BROTHER SUMMER CAMP
(FROM A BOY TO A KING)
From a boy to a king summer camp is a 24 day journey on a path of adventure, filled with exploration and discovery.  The camp is designed to
metaphorically take the young man from a boy to a king’s state of mind, as he discovers his own rich history and abilities.   Knowledge/ information (JEWLS) is given and collected, where the lessons learned are with him forever; stored in his brain (CROWN) and can never be taken from him, the possessor, only passed on. The camp is a fun way to learn more about the African contribution to the planet and modern existence, besides slavery and traditional mis-education.

WII DANCE ACADEMY
(WE INSPIRE DANCE)
WII Dance Academy works with girls and young women in the areas of the dance arts and theater arts. Participants are exposed to and taught various art forms of dance from cultures around the world.  They also perform at various shows, festivals, community gatherings, theme parks etc. The youth in our academy learn to embody dance by connecting, embracing, loving, and releasing life’s realities.

TONE FOR ME
(TAKING OWNERSHIP NEWLY EMPOWERED)
The Youth of the WII Girls Summer Camp and Our First Lady Michelle Obama has inspired us to T.O.N.E. TONE For Me is a comprehensive sixteen-week program for overweight adolescent girls (age 12-15), and their families. It offers a positive and active approach to assisting youth in achieving and maintaining a healthy weight, balanced nutrition and an energetic lifestyle.

MOTHER LOVE
Mother Love is an empowerment program that provides support and guidance to pregnant and parenting youth.  We provide one-on-one support as well as bi monthly support groups to assist young people in transitioning into the role of motherhood, strengthening their parenting skills and learning about the important roles and responsibilities of being a good provider for their child and/or children.

CONCERNED MAMAS AND AUNTIES COALITION (CMAC)
Concerned Mamas and Aunties Coalition (CMAC) is dedicated to promoting the health and well­being of girls and young women of African Descent.   We represent concerned mothers and aunties whom are also educators, social workers, health care providers, policy makers,
midwives, therapist, and others; committed to supporting:     A healthier quality of life for our girls and young women.   Educational
opportunities and increasing youth completing high school.   Delay of early sexual activity or decrease risky behaviors and lifestyle choices.    Young adults in completing college and trade schools.    Preventing and lowering the STD/SDI rates.   Preventing and lowering
diabetes and obesity rates.   Addressing mental health (especially depressions) issues.   Our objectives are:   To increase awareness among fellow mamas, aunties and other community members in areas of education, social and medical issues.   To provide a support network among agencies, professionals andcommunities. To stimulate social action. To recognize and support best practices.   To provide and exchange information on new developments and pending legislation.   To connect girls and young women to networks and empowerment programs.   These Objectives are met through:   Monthly Meetings   Annual State Conference   Regional Workshops   Quarterly Newsletter   National Teen Services Directory   Grassroots and Legislative Advocacy

BEAUTIFICATION OF YOU (B.O.Y.) UPGRADE
This monthly gathering brings together 50 girls to look at how they can enhance their beauty from the inside out.  Looking at self esteem, self worth and self value as a girl and/or women of African Descent (Ancestry) the strength and wisdom to positively live and love self and others.   Sessions on Hair care, Hygiene and Dress Care Codes all wrapped in outcome attitudes.

GROWING WISER, STRONGER AND INFORMED YOUTH SUMMIT
Growing Wiser, Stronger and Informed Youth Summit is in celebration of Black History Month. For the past five years we, in collaboration with Monterey Trail Black Student Union, focus on youth between the ages of 13 to 23, informing about the state of youth in Education, Health Care, Mental Health, Justice System, Parenthood, Sisterhood, Relationships, Self Development and much more…  But most of this entire summit is about youth changing the direction of the world by developing and implementing positive solutions and campaigns. We also honor educators and celebrate our youth and our rich heritage. Breakfast, lunch and materials are provided as well as some transportation.

OUR WORLD CULTURAL CENTER MEDIA GROUP
Our World Cultural Center Media Group produces internet radio shows and print media to address youth
and family issues.
